L’ARCHE LONDON, ONTARIO

We are a member of the L'Arche International Organization of faith-based communities creating homes and programs for people with developmental disabilities.

Our Story

L’Arche International was started by Canadian Jean Vanier more than 50 years ago.

Our Community

We have three homes, Cana (opened in August 1997), Jubilee (opened in March 2003), Bethany (opened in February 2008), and a Day Program that provides core members activities such as music, art, drama, dance and life skills.

Our Programs

L’Arche London provides a number of programs including a Music Club, Potluck dinners and day programs.

Do you want to financially help L'Arche London? All donations are tax deductible and help provide critical services to those with developmental disabilities in our community. Donate

In 1991, a small group of people with an interest in L’Arche gathered to pray and lay the ground work for L’Arche London. We now have three homes in London. There will soon be twelve core members who form the heart of the community, and several live-in assistants. L’Arche London is part of L’Arche Ontario which includes eight L’Arche communities in the province. We are excited to be able to open our new London Gathering Place (Lambeth) in 2017!
